Primo Bakery is a lovely little cafe located on Collins Avenue directly across the road from the W Hotel.

My wife and I were exploring the neighborhood and stumbled across this little bakery. This place has it all (literally), juices, cakes, sandwiches etc.

I wasn't too hungry when we visited, but when I saw their fresh fruit pie, I had to try it! Looks can be deceiving, but not here, it tasted absolutely amazing. The pastry was extremely fresh and very rich.

Come and stop by if you're in South Beach and want to visit a reasonably priced bakery.

Coffee is good although they don't offer flavors in any coffee. They do have hazelnut creamer but I prefer flavored coffee. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good. So I went by for lunch and got a cuban sandwich. I wanted a fresh one but they said they don't make them I would have to get the one in the refrigerated section and then they could warm it up. I wasn't impressed with this sandwich.

Horrible experience. I've been coming here since the location has opened and never had a bad experience. This morning their new staff were extremely rude and disrespectful. Specifically the employee naneshta. She laughed in my face when I told her I was going to speak to the owner. Do your self the favor and don't support this establishment who hire just any Individual to fill the spot.

They serve a pretty decent Cuban sandwich.

As well as sandwiches, they serve pastries, breakfast, empanadas and lots of savory pies and salads along with a few other things.

My only criticism is that they have an espresso machine and serve up all kinds of artisan coffees but yet they only serve coffee mate for your creamer.  Hate that stuff.  My husband went to the counter and asked if he could get some real milk to put in his tea and they were  very accommodating.

    Staff seemed really friendly.

This review is for vegan and vegetarian people. We tried a few empanada places in South Beach and we liked primo because they had the most vegetarian options! The options included spinach, guava, 4 cheese, caprese, and humita(corn and cheese filling). Also the the empanadas were flaky and almost croissant like.
